Expect hysterically funny comedy and mesmerizing Spanish guitar playing in Gordy's truly unique stand-up musical comedy show. Gordy's unique playing style mesmerizes audiences. Fingers fly as he plays Bach and Bluegrass in the same breath, Mozart on "12 cups of good, strong cowboy coffee," and a foot-stomping turn of "Classical Gas."

In Gordy's character-driven comedy, you'll meet Orville T. Saddlesore, "a chewed up old cowboy" who offers up Words of Western Wisdom; Joe California, a cool dude struggling to survive his first winter; Sven Norskypoop ("Ya, you betcha!"); Joe Prosciutto, a New Yorker suffering culture shock; and , of course, Gordy, a character in his own right.

A veteran entertainer, extraordinary guitarist, comedy writer and published songwriter, Gordy has performed his stand-up musical comedy show for hundreds of corporations, associations and other organizations, large and small. He has opened for Kenny Chesney, the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, The Beach Boys and many more.

Gordy's Experience

Gordy has been writing and performing his unique brand of stand-up musical comedy since 1990 and now does more than 100 corporate comedy shows a year across the country. As the owner of Deadwood Production Company and One Guy LLC, Gordy wrote 12 historical shows, including "Calamity Jane: The Wild Woman of the West," "Wild Bill Hickok: Gunfighter and Lawman"; "SETH BULLOCK: The Spirit of the West" and the musical comedy mellerdrammer, "The Desperate Damsels of Deadwood," were performed more than 3,000 times.
